How can a team move ahead of another team in the rankings when they lost the head to head matchup?

I feel most sorry for the players who deserved to make it to the top bowl games, but lose out because of money and subjective evaluation of who is best!

Its a bunch of $H%T. So OU and missouri are playing in the big 12 championship and texas beat them both! Go ahead and explain that to me!
 
this is the sole reason i won't watch college football until they adopt a system like the NCAA......March Madness Rules!!!!
 
Oklahoma has had some huge victories this year ...

I think they've earned the #2 spot.
 
Texas 45 vs. Oklahoma 35

Texas 56 vs. Missouri 31 (35-3 first half!)

Big 12 Championship game...... Oklahoma vs. Missouri???? Sensible??? NOT!!!

UTAH....undefeated!!!

Boise State....undefeated!!!

Ball State.....undefeated!!!

If you think they don't belong on the same field as the "big boys" then let them play each other and prove it!!! Enough of this subjective, biased, money driven bullsh!t!!!

It is likely, and probable that a 10-2 Ohio State team will be the at large over Boise State! And the Orange bowl could have 10-2 Cincinnati vs. 9-3 Boston College. Ridiculous!!!
 
With all of the bantering you forgot to mention this: Texas Tech defeated Texas and Oklahoma demolished Texas Tech.:eek:

Ya Texas got screwed, and the BCS is a joke, but college is still 100 times better than the NFL, i can't even watch the NFL anymore.

could you imagine a playoff game between Florida, USC. It would bring the highest ratings, have the highest leval of talent, and i believe be a awesome game between the 2 best teams, be interesting to see how Cushings, Taylor Mays(i think best defensive player in the country) and the rest of them do tryin to stop Percy and Rainy.. I hate USC but they are GOOD

Ohio over Boise State when the computers have BSU higher in strength of schedule points since we beat #19 Oregon. Undefeated, ranked higher, stronger schedule in computer ........... AND no BCS just because they think Ohio has more money and will bring in more revenue. I have news for them, after the Fiesta Bowl win 2 years ago, most college fans will tune in to see BSU do it again !!

Personally, I feel sorry for our kids who have done everything they have been asked.......only to get kicked in the teeth:mad:

If I knew where to complain to the BCS MAN, I WOULD!!!

2 words.. AP championship.. Remember Texas could still finish off the season in the AP number 1 therefore get the split championship, just like what happened to LSU and USC a few years back..

Ideal situation for that to happen would of been for Oregon State to win out and go to the rose bowl... Texas USC meeting in BCS bowl game, texas wins.. Oklahoma barely beats florida in a somewhat low scoring national championship... lets say 14 to 10

HAHA a long shoot and practically already eliminated with the oregon state loss and no legit power representing the big east (as WV has in past), but hey its somethin to laugh about:D

But obviously if you had to send the 2 teams that have the best body of work throughout the regular season (how it should be, no politics).. If they selected today you would have to say Texas and Bama...

Alabama will loose to Florida in the conference championship than oklahoma will be 1 and texas will be 2 and florida 3
 
The problem is Texas has no games left. So, if Florida beats #1 Alabama and OK beats Missou, the two will both likely end up above Texas in the subjective BCS rankings. What if Missouri beat OK??? ;):D
