I just got a new bca throttle float 22. Trying to be safe and all however after getting it I realized there is no inner compartments to keep me stuff in it ie; safety blanket, fire starters, first aid, tp, u no the necessity's. What gives they said there was a place for my shovel and probe. I cant find it. Looked on the web for pics and found one with them in side however my bca probe or my hmk shovel won't fit in it I am very unhappy with this purchase. My stuff has no place. Did I just buy the wrong pack. :face-icon-small-fro HELP

The outermost compartment is used for storage. The innermost is used to store the cartridge. My HMK shovel handle sticks out, so I used a carabiner to keep the two zippers together. I had room in mine for a shovel, probe, toilet paper, safety kit, lunch, water, and a few other items. The 22 is very tight for space, but that is why it is lighter. If you want more room than that, you need to get a bigger model.

Take it back and get the bigger one .I got the 26 and like it. 22 is way too small.

I the Float 22 and carry lots of stuff in there. The outer pocket, one away from your back is where the shovel and probe go. It isn't made to fit all shovels or probes unfortunately. In the inner compartment, yes the canister is in there, I have overnight stuff, spare gloves 3-4 pair, 3 pair spare goggles, my shock pump and my probe (I have the biggest one they make and it is way to long to fit in shovel pouch), an extra mid weight base layer and I have room for much much more. It takes packing a certain way, but I have extra room left over. My overnight stuff is vacuum sealed and in the bottom of my pack. Are you talking about the Float 18 by chance?

I do have the 22 and I have just put my stuff in zip lock bags and it fits. I was just surprised of the lack of compartments in the pack and no external shovel/probe holders. thanks to all that replied
