Battery hookup to check vipec

I am wanting to hook my sled to vipec and download my vipec maps so i can see what my sled is doing.
I have an old power supply from a computer that has the plug that fits the dcpower plug on the sled. What battery do i need to buy and which one is positive and negative? Is that all there is to it?

Only one way will work when u get it right the fuel pump will presure up and any 12 volt battery will work

Remember, on Polaris' brown is ground.

yes any style 12 volt battery will work great. jumpbox, car battery, power supply, or charge box.

Just make sure that have a true 12 volts of power.
