Will post pictures later but the bridge went down when we departed.
Amazing day!

Conditions down low were extreme. Rocks and rivers. Boondocking through the woods to get to the rocks.

Wow, that melted really fast in one week! There are other ways around, but when it gets to this point it's time to stick a fork in it and call it a season.
Anytime we can make it into June I consider it a good year.
Time to play with the summer toys and do the off-season mods!

explanation

They told me to hit it hard. I stuck it and mid crossing the sled abruptly stopped. I kept going over the bars and fell into the water. I bust my ribs, and have a monster bruise on my hip. My backpack saved my back but my ribs ended up taking a shot.

I got out of the water feeling wet and the looser of a bar fight. I let them help me get it up and out.

It was a simple maneuver that went wrong for me. I took the picture to show the last sled crossing the bridge for the season. I then rode down the trail and my ski caught a rut and I stopped short again and flew off the very same way.

I should not have assumed that was the only way in, for those that can still get up there go for it, its awesome.
