Yeh what spot on baker is safe ? Not the canyons getting to peanut
Hmmmm not the water fall that people fall in every year not climbing big house that killed people In avys or pocket lake or horse corral

The sad thing and the truth of it is over 75% use baker as an excuse to get f*cking drunk and talk **** break **** and drive home drunk ??
Like its so safe at the the baker shootouts between the idiots thowing full 5 gallon fuel cans on fire pits melting there neighbors trailers and the drunk riding

Riding the uglys is so damn dangerous very true but not the worst thing I've seen up there by far ?

Yep, of course it's dangerous up there. Anywhere on the glaciers it's dangerous, and you WILL be on snow bridges at any time you ride the glaciers. How many of you carry crevasse rescue gear? ropes, harnesses, belay devices, pulleys, ice tools... do you even know what a prusik is? I do... who's the idiot now? Having the experience to call where we were rideable comes after going places most of you obviously never have been to, so you better stay safe at peanut and hold tight to your purses.

Hell yes great response ??

I was there 15 years ago for a death and had been at the crater drinking beer with couple guys from Everett short story, guy dropped in and died. Got at scene as sar showed and tied sleds together for a anchor. You really got to be next to a guy calling his dad and telling him his son is dead and he has the keys! But that does not stop me from riding crazy just smart, the house I live in was previously owed buy a friend that died in south america, big avy! Life is a risk and I say ride hard till the end. 5 people that I started climbing with are dead, be smart ride hard!

Are u F-ing kidding me?
How irresponsible are you guys
Would you swim with great white sharks with chum in your pockets too cause that's about the same. Your lucky nobody went "in". Wind blown powder across a crevasse won't hold the weight of you and your sled. You were not only risking your own life but also rescue personnel you would have to call if someone fell in.
I'm sorry but that video sickens me. There are people that have died up there and who's bodies are still "in" the mountain

In closing (shame on you)

Go ahead and rip on ME but you know I'm right. If you have a brain that is!!!!!

I guess I never really thought of what I did as dumb, until now... rode up to the crater, and walked out on a ledge and looked over to see a steaming body of water...quite a ways down.

I remember a few butt hole puckering moments.. and the smell of sulfer.. again, probably really dumb? I know I won't be doing that again.

Baker is a dangerous mountain to ride, so many go up there not knowing the areas that are prone to avy's, snow bridges in the uglies & water falls. I was lucky to ride with guys in my beginning of riding days that have rode there for over twenty five years, they taught me where to go and not to go. I am saying my piece about the uglies to let the people that do care about dieing up there realize this is a place to stay out of.

Have fun riding, challenge yourself, & go back home.
