Baker parking - Road conditions?

Anybody up recently? Where is the parking "lot"; how much gravel riding?

Was up there on Tuesday. A couple bare spots you have to cross, but definately worth it if the visibilty lets you get up top! Make sure you drive to where the sign says tracked vehciles only. We parked at a wide spot about 100yds before there thinking it was the official parking area. I bet the parking is not more than 2 miles from the Meadow.

Baker shootout is re-scheduled for this weekend, right? Might not make it another month

they moved the sign up another 1.5 miles from where it was 2 weeks ago to another turn around. still ice and snow but with 3/4 of gravel from the last turnaround above the 3rd swithchback. The best part of Baker right now is the short ride in. It is ugly below 4500' but I'll take it.
