Baker grooming done!

Looks like my buddy was a little ahead of it because Randy groomed last night. Just a fyi, not trying to start a bitch thread. The groomer has no control of where or how many times he can groom. That is all state mandated. If I had my way, our local club would charge $120 per season pass and that money would be private grooming funds for our local trails just like they do in Canada. $30 is silly and you get what you pay for. Go ride the Coq and pay $20 per day but you get good grooming and cabins with firewood. Well worth it!

A couple of guys broke the Kulshan trail down last week but it never got groomed. Too hard on the groomer and cost him a lot of $$$ so I don't think he plans on grooming it in the future.

Actually, I believe there are plans in place to make this a viable route. It will require a few summertime work party hours but the end result will benefit everyone.

Maybe we all should take some lessons on how to effectively ride the whoops from the supercross stars such as Reed, Dungey and Stewart.

Heavy four strokes with a suspension = cadillac im not to worried about it. Wont be the first time or the last time i ride mile of whoops to ride

ReTodd, totally not true on the grooming schedule

Just for info, the STATE does not dictate when where and how to groom, they only allocate the money to be spent based the miles for that area. The times and places are all up to the groomer and the local grooming councill. They / He can groom anytime he thinks its right as long as he still has money in his system. Again, nobody at state parks tells him when, where or how. Thats what the grooming councils are for, He is supposed to groom his entire area based on miles and his schedule he turns in at the beginning of the season, but that can change any time, just needs to post it with state parks, Not bashing but I really hate seeing state parks and olympia being blammed for all our problems. It's not there fault, it's ours for not working on a plan 4 years ago to increase our fee's , get the fuel tax removed ect. I know I sound like a broken record, but thats the facts, We dont have enough money in our system to do an "adequate" job any more. Groomers all over the state run out of money early or dont get the frequency they need thru out the season.

So give us an outlet to donate to the system. Obviously doubling the tab fee wasn't going to fly. If you don't ask for money and give an easy way to pay (paypal) it will never happen.

Looks like they groomed this week I was up Monday and it was murder, up today and it was groomed all the way up. Must be for the shootout.
