Lucky enough to get on the mountain early and enjoy some of Bakers finest. :face-icon-small-coo We rode on the Sulpher Springs side and then above Bighouse to take in the veiw, :face-icon-small-sad then the fog rolled in. We picked our way around the mountain and made the best out of the visibility, started snowing which made it a little tougher to see. Should be awesome Sunday, plenty of fresh, enjoy.

you should have stayed on the mountain till 4,,,, we sat around the fire we made for about 3 hours waiting for the late afternoon sun,,,,,,,,, and old baker did not let us down. sun started spotting out for us til about 5. lots of good snow. saved our gas for the end of the day. the only thing we ran out of was beer waiting for the sun,,,, go figure. sunday will be excellent. but we tore it up today!!!!!:target:

good to see you up there mtnmike,,,,, glad the sled finished the day out:peace:

Nice Vid!

We picked our way over toward pocket lake and then spent most of the day boondocking in the trees around horse corral. It was great riding in the trees......none of the fog/flat light vertigo feeling of being out in the open basins.

When the fog started to lift and the sun came out around 3:30 we headed up and tracked out the big bowls above horse corral, then dropped back down to finish the day in the main bowl above peanut. We were surprised, there were soooo many great lines, hills and bowls still untouched at 4pm!!

Headed down around 6:30 on fumes......70 mile day!

Overall awesome day at Baker!

Good to hear the sun showed up, I've recently just had knee surgery and was spent by 1:00, when it started snowing hard :face-icon-small-dis I took it as an omen to call it a day.
