Badaz Gill Side Vents

Having gone with the traditional side panel venting (screened) on my M7, I wanted to try something that would look better and provide more strength for my M1000.

I ended up going with Gill vents from Altitude Performance:
Altitude Performance Industries
Calgary Alberta Canada
Phone: 403-870-2524
Toll Free: 1-877-295-4530
e-mail: altitudeperformance@yahoo.ca

and just finished the install. I think they are the Catz Azz! :D

Thanks to the great service from Dave at Altitude Performance. Nice guy and nice product. I have not tried them out yet but have seen good reports on snowest and other forums. If you check the website you can see they are available for other sled brands.

I have included pics below that show my step by step install, and the final product.

Great post.

Something to consider .. I just cut the panel out with a Dremel (jig saw would also work) on the inside of the tape in pic #5. Then rivited the gill on. Still stronger than stock. No need to drill all those holes IMO. Also running without a screen and no snow gets in even in the dry powder of Colorado.

You can get the same vent in the states from Boondockers (same mfg). Very high quality vent.

great detailed post....thanks for taking the time and effort to share.

Nice vents, would have cut the panel out instead of drilling holes.
