AXYS BELT QUESTION

Give one a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed. They run very close in peak RPM, less heat fade, last just as long as oem about "600 miles" and cost about half the money if you buy them right. I've got about 3,000 miles on them with no regrets. Some will say they blow up like a grenade, but I haven't had one blow yet.

I've had the same experience as AddrenalinAddict, It's all I run on mine now unless I happen to get a screaming deal on a Polaris one. I've heard they are a great test to see if your clutches are aligned correctly. If they are not, they will grenade quick. I have not blown one up yet, but I change them every 400 miles, mainly because they are cheap enough to change at that mileage just for peace of mind. A buddy took one of my take offs and ran it for another 500 miles. Give one a try.

If your someone who doesn't abuse belts real bad then they hold up longer then OEM polaris ones it seems. If you beat the crap out of them they don't handle super high heat quite as well and snap easier. Generally speaking they are a great bang for your buck for the average rider.

If your getting 500+ miles on oem belts then you will have good luck with the gates carbons.
