axis CE x3 track opionions

Wondering what opinions are on the x3 track. I have come across one but no experience with the new axys mine came with 2.6 and coming off the cat I really like the claw. need real world opinion's

My opinion is 2.6 is awesome track for 75-80% of the days that you ride. I think it would be waste of money.

If you are testing a 3" polaris track next to a 2.6" polaris track, don't forget the gearing makes them feel quite different. Don't chalk it up to just that 0.4" lug length.

Side by side in out snow a 3" simply performs better. Keeps going when the 2.6 stops.

With that said my Series 7 3" track is delaminating lugs sooooo... Ya

I have a 14' Pro with 7 teeth drivers and a TKI belt drive and an X3 non center ported track. It is an amazing track! But you have to know you have to control the pushing from the track. its not a lot different but you can notice it. This last weekend there were four of us sledding in Winthrop, WA and the snow was very weird.... like hard crust and then 2 feet of powder but kinda heavy. (weirdest snow ever) anyway i was with two power claws and a stock challenger, those power claws couldn't get started in this snow they just trenched and trench over and over but that 155 challenger wouldn't get stuck either. Anyway that's just my .02 cents... i think the X3 is better than the new Polaris 3" and the PC 3". seems like anything good you have to buy after you buy your sled. good luck. FYI i didn't get stuck with the other guys that time haha.
