awesome rear skid set up from racer's edge!!

fuk why do people still buy garbage.... enjoy!

Darryll put a rear skid in for me and a couple buddies this summer. They look awsome, and the feedback from guys riding them is all good. I may be wrong here but the above post sounds like something LHF would say to stir chit up....enjoy:rolleyes:

Michael,

With one post, and 2 pics..

Let us know what you are trying to say here...

I don't care if it was a Holz skid, Timbersled, M-10, K-mod etc... all of these can break with abuse and poor maint/installation.

I've watched many Thunderstruck riders, Dan Adams, Rob Hoff, and others that have absolutely PUNISHED the T-sled skid without issues.

Any pics/details of the same sled before these to confirm that the skid was installed properly, maintained properly, etc..

I understand competition... But I'm getting really sick of the mudslinging here.... regardless of the product brand.

coupled suspension

Been looking into this for a while, timber sled updated there stuff for0-10 season, alot stonger I will be going with K-mod with the raptor coilovers.Kmod is priced right, and very easy to adjust on the hill. This baker stuff is way over priced.

timber junk eh? Man that has to out right operator abuse. You can't blame that on the skid. For any of you no minds on here listen up, lightweight means in most cases means light duty. My 400 pound cousin had a timbersled and he pounded the crap out of it and he bent his up too. Not like that though, but he bent cross shafts and the through shaft in the rear arm that bolts to the tunnel. When you have a skid that weighs 30 some pounds it's not going to hold up as well. People have to get that in their heads. I think that for people that want a skid that is somewhat affordable and tough I think this racers edge skid will do the trick. It won't be as light as the timbersled but I've heard it works awesome and it looks like it should be fairly tough. For me personally I don't pound down the trails and jump so I like the timbersled, I actually bought my cousins and fixed it up and I love it in my 800rev. It rides pretty good and it does a really good job of keeping my front end on the ground especially in the rutted and shelled out hills. I can't say how it works on boosted sleds but I could'nt be happier on my 8. For my money I like the timbersled, but if I was in the need of something a little more durable I think I would be taking a look at the racer's edge skid.
