Very sorry to hear of the loss, my thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends left behind.
Folks think before you climb it's not worth it, your not only risking your life but the guy sitting at the bottom of the hill.

Word comin off the hill is that the avy conditions are extreme. Lots of small avy's. Maybe I should be glad i'm wait'n on a chaincase. Be careful out there. Wear a beacon or a pack.

sorry to hear about that.. My dad grew up in that area.. knew him and some of his family.. thoughts and prays are with all of the friends and family

Please be carefull out there people!!!!! All of this Fresh snow is loading up on a layer of Ice the Pineapple Express created in early December......
This is starting off to be one of the most dangerous seasons yet as far as fatality's go.... Please do not be a hero or show off and lets wait untill the snow pack has bonded before we get crazy out there.....
Take Care everyone and have a Smart and Safe Season!!!!!!

Life is a precious thing and noone knows when they will be gone so cherish everything you have and give you children and wife a kiss and tell them how u feel everytime u leave your house it may be the last chance you have at it. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends and fellow riders involved. We just came back from Togwotee and just makes a guy realize just how important life is.

I too am curious where this happened because I think we can all learn from it. From the helicopter picture I saw it appeard to be Sugarloaf hillclimb because two people appeared to be walking from the copter toward the hillclimb. Many of us Snowies riders climb that hill about every time we are out there and don't give it much thought. If it was down in 7-fools, that is also becoming more popular and taken for granted.
