Didn't see any slides this weekend, but there was a bunch of whoomping. Several times it was enough to knock snow off of the trees.

Went to check my cylinder in my bag before I rode last week and it was empty!! Make sure you check it as well as beacon batteries, and both modes before every ride!!

Anyone else had a cylinder lose everything over summer? It held 2k all winter long and now nothin... I'm in Brighton, anyone know where to get a BCA cylinder filled besides REI and BCA in Boulder? Also have a ABS that needs filled. Thanks for any input!
Be safe out there, Merry Christmas!

P Money Thanks for the heads up! I may be wrong, but can't you get your BCA cylinder be filled at a scuba shop or fire department because it is just compessed air unlike the ABS Bag which is nitrogen!!

Hope this helps,
Ryan

It can't be just any scuba shop or fire department, they need an adapter to fill the cylinders. There is a scuba shop in Arvada that does it, also you can search for refillers on the BCA website.

Thanks guys, all the BCA site shows around me is REI and the BCA shop. Maybe I'll try the fire dpt next to my house, that'd be sweet! So where does a guy get and ABS cylinder refilled, buddy has one and wants to test it...

The fire dept needs a scott adapter to fill it.

IF they're willing to do it (I have yet to find one that is) I've got a scott adapter in my truck I believe that you can have.
