Avi bag qwestion

Im buying an avalanch bag. My main concern is, I'm a big dude 6ft4 and an easey 3bills. So one with big enough straps as well as enough displacement to handle my big @** is a must I would appreciate any thoughts you guys have. Thanks

Not to be a smart ***, but here is the truth. You already have plenty of volume and the size of the airbag being deployed will be enough to float you to the top. The airbag increases your volume and decreases your density and works on the principal of inverse segregation.
As a bigger person, unless your 100% muscle, you have less density than a leaner person and will float easier. The airbag will be sufficient to make you even less dense to help bring you to the surface.
This question has been asked in class many times and I asked engineers with the airbag manufacturers.

As Mike said, any of the airbags will increase your volume and help float you to the top. I would look more for comfort, the way the pack will fit you, and the storage configuration of the packs.
From past experience, the BCA packs are great packs, but the waist straps aren't as long as some of the other packs and won't fit around some of the bigger snowmobilers.
