You should buy a lottery ticket cause it's your lucky day. That wasn't all that small. I've seen pics of much smaller avalanches that have buried people. Glad everything turned out well!!!
How about some details? Were you climbing, sidehilling,riding over from the top? Did you try to outrun it or just ride it out or did you get away from your machine?

That does not look small. From what I am told, most slides are only about 3 to 5 feet deep. I think you are lucky you are telling this story.
