We just got a Polaris RZR and wanted to check out the area before the snow hits. We usually sled out of Albany or Centennial. How does it work in the summer? Is there a better place to park the trailer than the Albany lot? Are there any maps available for summer or is the winter one good enough? Also any suggestions for trails to hit?

Was out there two summers ago and rented a couple of RZR from albany lodge you can ride right from there side trails start right above the lodge we only rode that one day so not sure of the best area's to ride. It was over the four of july weekend and a lot of trails still were unpassable because of snow.

You will need to buy a sticker similar to the one you buy for your sleds. Albany Lodge should have them. You can park in the lot, or just head up the road and park up on the hill (you can park near Rob Roy or Cinnabar or other areas)

The winter maps will work for you - there are a few differences on some of the trails, but for the most part all of the trails are on/near the same forest service roads that you will ride on. The off limits trails are clearly marked and/or gated off. Be aware/respectful of the hunters if it is an open season and get some orange on if you don't have any.

There are a ton of trails to hit - the ones up by Nelson Park are usually fun, you will probably end up just doing a ton of exploring and finding places on your own.
