07 XRS with 2214-miles no problems, just sold it.
08 X with 1400-miles no problems, will sell after this coming season if I Spring check a 2010 model.

09 50th Anniversary Edition on the way.

mine let loose at 4600km, my dads squeaked at just shy of 4000km, still runs just that middle bearign tightening up after a long pull. mine did the same couple hours before it let loose. actually mine tightend up early in the day and i probably put on annother 40-50km of hard riding before it finaly let loose 2km from the truck.

when they start tightening up, flip the choke on, little more lube it'll go a little further lol.
on the 07's i think its not if more of a when. worth buying the extened warrenty

Apparently i was quoted wrong price.....still 1100 for 1 year and 1650$ for 2 years. The 515/715 quotes where to upgrade from motor to full coverage. Also you can not buy just motor coverage, its either the BEST full coverage or BEST plus which is full coverage plus maintenance (whatever that means?)

Also spoke with BRP today and if the sled is a Canadain sled she said you could only have max of 36 months of warranty so technically any 07 could only purchase and additional year. Every dealer and even BRP seems to be confuse about what they cover, how much it is and how much you can purchase. If it was a US sled you can have a total of 48 months bc their snow season is shorter? What a load of BS.

Asked the BRP lady about premature clutch wear do to crank tolerances. Lets just say they where not interested in hearing about that. They where also not concerned about any cranks that may be out of spec regardless of what their manual says is upper limits.

So on that note think I will ride and take my chances and in the event of a failure hopefully BRP will at least throw in parts.

Hope this info saves others the headache of wading through BRP/BEST.

If anyone finds better prices please post.
