Aspen area sledding question

A friend of mine just got back from a ski trip to the Aspen area. The whole group that went seemed to enjoy it. I have been invited to go along on the next trip out. i have never been to this area of Colorado. I would rather ride sleds and forget the skis. Is there any riding in the Aspen area? If there is are there any good sled rental outfitters?

Yes there is some awesome riding up there. Taylor pass!!! I've been riding there from Taylor Park for years. I'd assume you could hit pearl pass from there too. I don't know about rentals though.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'm going to take up the offer and just wing it when we get there. I figure I'll find something.

Rentals that you can take unguided or to any areas are hard to come by. There's JM?? JW?? adventures in Silt that rents M6's with trailer ($225 1st day, $200 after). I think that's the only rental outfit that just lets you go anywhere with the sleds.
There's tons of areas to ride within an hr from Aspen.
