Arctic Cat or Polaris

only trail it sees is getting up the hill. I live in Utah so no flat landing. sled was built for the mountains and that's what I use it for. used to ride cats till I got this sled. the cat is a very solid sled as well but in my own personal opinion the pro chassis is far better. and I've never had a problem with the motor. ever! has over 200 hours for sure not sure of exact number because I haven't checked all year but a few hundred miles ago it was over 200 wouldn't be surprised to see it past 300 now

YOU SIR HAVE ONE OF THE GOOD ONES!!:face-icon-small-hap

You are on borrowed time... Good Luck!

I trade my Polaris every season because the motor is a poor design. Love the sled but I am realistic about its faults.

im sure its ticking away but for the use ive got out of it I wouldn't blame it a bit. a new motor and ill ride it another 3000 it will get and old 700 under the panels next time

Wouldn't buy anything other than a polaris now. After owning three, one of them the "worst sled ever" 900 and now the 2012 800. I had 4000 miles, yes miles, on my 900 BONE STOCK. And not one single issue! Preventative maintenance I rebuilt it and upgraded to my pro. It has 1500 miles on it, still runs perfect. But again, just to be safe, and since I'm out of warranty, I've decided to do a Terra Alps kit in it. Why not have a little fun with it haha. VeRy reliable, especially if taken care of properly. There's so much input on here, just finding the stuff that's good can be difficult because people get so caught up in brand bashing.

I am partial to the Polaris myself, and the AXYS is going to be another GIANT step forward. Owned a Pro ever since they came out in 2011 and have never looked back. I have ridden the Doo, and thrown a leg over the Cat a time or two, and the first thing i notice is how "chubby" they feel. The Polaris is lean, narrow, and nimble. Kind of the same feel you get when you go from a dual sport bike to a high end dirt bike. The weight difference is absolutely HUGE on the mountain. The polaris holds a sidehill like no other. Impressive, to say the least!!

my 12 pro rmk 800 has 3224 miles on it. has one top end 500 miles ago just todo it motor was still running great. all stock oiler turned up and vented cap and never had one single problem. best sled ive ever rode I cant justify selling it because its never let me down and I still haven't found its limit

Shhhh! It's a hunk-a-junk and everyone one the internet knows it...

OP: Enjoy your new sled. May there be snow where you ride.

Pick the one you like best, buy from a dealer with great service department, make sure the warrenty lasts as long as you plan to own the sled lol done deal
