Arctic Cat Employee Discount?

My wife is interviewing for a job @ AC. She doesn't want to ask what the discount is for being an employee.

She says it doesn't matter since it won't make her take the job.

However, I can't handle the suspense any longer! What is the AC employee discount?

PM if you don't want to put it out in the open, I'll keep my trap shut.

Just wondering if I should start thinking about a new M8 @ 75% off or not

I doubt their is any or it would be somthing like the GM employee discount witch is nothing to write home about.

I don't know exactly but I think you get one toy per some many times a year a little above dealer cost.

So I know it is not 75% off retail ... more like 20-30.

I know this cause I asked a couple of the guys at a snowmobile mfg plant to buy a sled from them and they told me this.

why would you want your wife to work at a sh!thole like that for. ya they get a unit like every 2 yrs at a discount of some sort. i have heard anyways. where will she be working?

It won't be at the factory if it works out, it'll be up here in the Canadian head office.

Any input on the way they treat employees or job security or anything else are welcome. She would be leaving a job in a poorly run insurance company (think Office Space) if it works out.

One discount unit every 2 years isn't a bad perk.

And the "salvage" yard in TRF isn't bad. 50% off out of "salvage" (demo sleds, carry overs, etc...) Brand new arctic wear for DIRT cheap. Not sure what it's like on the other side of the border though...
