9000 is 1100 turbo four stroke, 7000 is 1049 Yamaha four stroke(no turbo) 8000 is 800 2 stroke

... shed nearly 20 lbs. on the 2015 models... The rear suspension was also repositioned lower and rearward for improved maneuverability...

Did they move the skid again or are they comparing the 2015 to a 2014, 2013, or 2012???

Pretty sure that was a misprint, carried forward from last year. The skid did not move and appears no significant weight loss.
