Aprilia 550 snowbike?

Anyone tried an aprilia rxv550 with a kit?

Or are these in the same boat as the other big bore bikes, the extra weight isnt worth the power gains?

Personally, I wouldn't touch that bike with a 10 foot pole for reliability. You want to have a solid reliable bike under you when your back in the middle of of a mtn bowl.

Of course we'd all like more power, but not having seen too many of those particular bikes stand up very well, I think I'd turbo a MX bike before going the exotic route.
