Apparently all new 800 in 2011 pro-r's

The Can-Bus control system might just not be compatible with current fuel box technology...

It might not be as easy as it used to be to "piggyback" a new box.

That would be a bad thing for poo if a guy couldn't at least easily put a pipe on and be able to add the appropriate fuel. Some how they are going to have to find a way to let dealers/others manipulate the ECU for the public then. For me, an un-moddable sled is worthless. In the mtns, they will go directly to the bottom of the pile.imo
Of course I have no idea what a Can-Bus system is or how it works.:face-icon-small-dis

2011n RMK PRO

To shine a little light on this i dont know the how many injectors or boars or strokes but this is stright from polaris we got a chance to see the new RMK PRO 800 at Seeley Lake and these things are bad all new suspension, rails and shocks (still walkers but gas not air charged and did away with the spring's) as for the engine we got told it is the same 800 Liberty motor but they fixed the problems and made it a better motor so take that for what it is worth

Hope this helps

That sounds good that they fixed the problems with the motor!! Now maybe they can fix the sleds that are having problems for the guys that have been down so much.Give them a new motor sounds good to me!! I like the looks of the sled and the changes sound good but no first year sled for me from polaris as there track record has not been so good the last few years. So will just have to live with the 09 for one more season till we see how it turns out. I wish them luck as they need it bad or lots of polaris owners will be be on a other brand!!

Luvin IT!!

About time Polaris decided they wanted the RMK back on the top. I'm talking about the days when 9 out of 10 sleds you seen out west was RMK's
That sled looks like it was designed for the Mountains.

I've gotta say that if they've done their research and made an 800 that runs like it's supposed to, this could be the sled that brings me back to polaris.

P.S. It kinda looks like the love child of mid 90's powder special and an xp...

Holy crap Polaris Listened !! I just noticed the snow flap is ported !! WOW!!!:face-icon-small-dis

NOT another $11,000!

I don't care how light it is or how much hp they claim. It will just be another P.O.S they refuse to back. I learned my lesson with those pricks the hard way Screw polaris.

Hey OLD GOAT you are so off base it hurts to think of what your IQ really is but for sure it's below 35. No one I mean NO one can say that they aren't backing it up and standing behind it, that's just not true! Now if you are one of the turbo guys or have had major mods and they won't warranty it ,da if you modded your truck would you expect the manufature to fix it for free. Please go and get a new Doo it would be justice served IMO

727 .... there are many sides to this coin... many people have had excellent warranty coverage... some have not.

Some have been through the ringer on with their 800's and had them in the shop more than they have been riding them.

There is NO warranty for "loss of use"...

I'm not picking sides and I know of many 800 owners that had zero problems with their stock 800's from 08/09 and still have not had the update done.

Goat... I feel for ya... been there with a Ford truck.

Funny thing is... the turbo sleds are the ones with the least problems..

Go figure...

I really hope that all the naysayers will continue to bash Polaris and not buy the new sled. That way they won't be able to sell them for MSRP and will have to lower the price!
