APEX TETHER..WHAT WORKS

like it says..i need to put a tether on my tapex..who has one.what works the best..the easiest to install..etc..etc....and whats the best there is..i looked up oft websight..it doesnt show chit..so any help is great..thanx in advance...chris

Cheapest/easiest is by far the older arctic cat closed circuit ignition tether spliced into the kill switch any older 90's era cat sled with a square shaped kill switch by the throttle (square is closed, round is open circuit ignition)

One of the guys I ride with uses this tether, works good and you only need one hand to push the key in....

Either the Yamaha one or the OFT, they are basically the same and I have the OFT, works great. Easy to install and mounts right to the handle bar.

You got the looks good part right anyway, dont know about the rest....

I've seen way too many broken tether cords and frozen plungers to be 100% comfortable trusting my engine to it. I'm searching for a better one. I'm thinking about going this way, just wish I didn't have to buy the rollover valve with it.

thanx for all the info..ill try the factory yami one..since its available at the dealer..chris
