Powder, off trail riding - sidehill, carving, boondocking, hills. Has powderclaw track and GenII skis. Thoughts, experiences?
Thanks

I left mine in actually...with the stock front garbage shocks....I found it better in. Take one bolt out and ride it for the day.....just zip tie the link outta the way and see what you think. I doesnt way nothin either on the apex....

tried it out and loved it in the pow but back in for the trails.Just to tippy at speed on the trails.

One more vote for out!
I can agree that it gets more tippy, but thats why you want to remove it in the first place, if you with all your heart love to freeride, they must out, but if you like to speed on trails, why a mountain sled?
I didn't remove it for any weight saving, it's still there except the joint on one side, i have it in my pocket if i would want to install it again, but i never did.
Don't take our word for how you want to do with your sled, try remove the joint on one side and try for your self.

Sounds like I should definitely disconnect and give it a rip. Only ride trails to get to riding areas and usually just put it on "cruise control". Do both sides have a "joint" where it can be disconnected? Thanks for all of the replies.

Good plan, and yup, it doesent matter on which side you disconnect it, it looks the same on both sides.
The s.k. joint is the "knee" with balljoints in both ends.
