I have a buddie with a 07 Mcx apex it starts and warms up till light goes out and then dies and won't run till it is cold again . Any ideas why thanks brad

my sled, when i forgot to connect boost gauge, i started it up, there was a code, i couldnt get it to idle at all, i had to open the throttle up to get it to idle, and it was rough and trying to die.... of course fix the vacuum leak, as in the "oh crap forgot boost gauge..." and idles and runs like a champ

Just chased lines no leaks no codes still the same once sled is warm it won't run uuug??????

so does it just die or does it sputter for a bit & can you keep it running if you give it throttle.
Spudders and runs bad then dies and won't start till it cools down ie1hour clears all the old codes and checked spark seems week to me thanks for the ideas

spark plugs are fowled out change them and his sled will run..ive done that a couple times before.most the time its from starting the sled and reving it up then shutting it off and doing it again. that is usually is the cause for this.

New plugs but when checking the spark it looks a little weak good compression uuug trying thing off my sled on his and same thing !!?? Thanks brad this is a weird one!!!!

the mcx box is broken, change it
Lol. Thats what just happened to mine. Would start then after a while it just died. I removed intercooler and the secondaries are firing at idle. I believe the box is baked ! Oh well that is 14,000kms. Lasted a while. I guess i will have to retrofit a newer box and keep riding until i hit 20,000km, then Thistledoo can pay me that hundy he bet me LOL !
Sh!t last week it was 12000kms man your racking them up fast
Well we found a vacuum leak but still having a problem but did have a major improvement thanks for the help!!!!
