Anyone using a Kmod 163 Suspension?

Yes we are running them. They have been working great for us. We have been running them for 3 years. Way way better than the old easy rides.

I had a 162 on my cat last season, it definitely kept the front end down. The ride was way better than stock!

Getting ready to order one of Kevins skids for my backcountry EAST sled !!!

we dont have the big chutes, but a boosted 1000's and 146's dont work well.

going 173 !!!! now I need a special permit just to trailer this titanic !!!!

I will be running a 162 under my boosted XM this year. Ran a boosted pro with a KMod 162 for the last 3 seasons at 10-12lbs boost. IMO there just isn't much that compares to them, and I've had a few. As far as what number to run the coupling blocks at you are going to find that is pretty much personal preference. I usually have mine set on 2 or 3, but I'm a big dude and am running the heavier rear spring. What these guys have said is true, the KMod keeps the front end down REALLY well on these boosted 2 strokes and the ride is second to none. Another great benefit is how well they get up on the snow. I would love to see two identical sleds, stock or boosted, one with the KMod, one with a stock skid, race up any hill. Smooth or whooped, hardpack or powder, I would bet the KMod sled would easily beat the stock skid. I ran with a few boosted pro's with the stock skids and the difference in ground speed on a climb is pretty noticeable. You are going to love it.

I have owned EZ Ryde, M10, Holz, Fabcraft and Timbersled and my next skid will be a KMOD. Kevin is a great guy and has a great product. It is the only skid I know that is will hold the skis down like M10 but easily adjusts to comfort or easy ski lift for boondocking. Plus the Raptor shocks are truly amazing for ride quality.
