Anyone riding Willow Creek by Afton??

Planning a trip to go to Afton and riding up Willow Creek on the 26th. Just curious what the snow is like up there right now and how deep is it?

X2 headed that way after the 1st ...snotel is only showing 24" now for willow with warm temps ..looks like possible snow this weekend..hoping it starts stacking soon!!

Rode up there Saturday. There's plenty of snow for the most part. You'll have a good time. I rode up there without really worrying about anything. The snow is set up and I think after one more really good storm it'll be perfect.

Willow Creek yesterday, there's still land mines, but it's pretty good. Like was said earlier, one more storm and it'll be better.

Hey Wyo, where about up Willow Creek did you get that go pro video from? I've only ridden up Willow Creek once and we were mainly fixing sleds rather than riding, I just remember mostly trees, never seen where it had open hillsides like that?

I think there's a motel in Thayne, not sure about Afton.

There's a group of condos/cabins on the southern skirts of Afton. Super great place to stay. Small cabins that sleep 4 are $100 a night. The large cabins sleep 8-9 are $140 a night. Here's the website: mountaininncondos.com

There is a hotel right in Afton. Stayed there last winter. Southern side of town, on the east side of main street. Can't remember the name. Lots of room for parking sled trailers, and not too far to the local watering holes
