Anyone put tracks on a Kubota UTV

I put a set of tracks on Grampa's buggy. It's a hydro-stat drive and the tracks robbed all the power. With tracks this thing is a turd. I have heard that there is a governor that allows more RPM to the drive. Anyone know about this or any other way to get this thing off the pot. Thanks. EW

my uncle bob has one w/out tracks and in low its a pretty bad *** i loved just haulin around the tracks at his cabin in the mountains. with the diff lock it would climb any thing

I was reading on some groomer 4m's and they all say the Kubota w tracks is a dog, some turboe'd them to get em to work though

you will only have 40-60% of the speed that you had with tires. it should have more low end power.

Eric you need to trade it in on a rzr with tracks..plus you have the wrong track system on it! BOOOOooooOOOO Tatou 4S is the only way to go. OOOO I drove the brand new Honda Big Red yesterday....that thing is pretty cool for a big rig....still ain't no rzr but you can get some work done.

I agree with Opus, even with tires the thing wont get out of its own way. I think my old Kawi Mule will drag it faster than it will go by itself. Thanks for the turbo tips WW, if Grampa was light enough to buy the buggy and the tracks, I guess a turbo may not be out of judgement. We'll see, thanks everyone. EW
