Just like it says;

Has anyone lost an 800 CFI IQ motor that has put Wiseco pistons in it?

TIA
If so please post your experiences. Was it a cold seize? Burndown? Piston Skirt? Etc?

Thanks, but I think that motor had more going on. He destroyed a lot of pistons in a hurry. I would check the cylinders to make sure they are round and not egg shaped.

Cylinders were and are in spec. There is nothing wrong with them. Dealer thinks that ecu is bad or flash didn't work. Definitely not the fault of the wiseco kit! Never thought it was the fault of the wiseco kit! I think this kit will make a lot of dragon owners happy. Just gotta make sure they are getting enough fuel.

I am looking at the Wiseco pistons or the "fix". I really don't have the cash to spend on the "fix" but it is certainly cheaper than a new motor. I will be running a PCV with autotune as well.

I have 7 or 800 miles on a set of wisecos in a 08 800 cfi4. Sled has always ran well even with the stock pistons. Wisecos were at .005 while the stock single ring were at .008. I thought that clearance seemed excessive. Sled has original 08 mapping with a fuel controller.
