Anyone know conditions on Hood?

Well if you've got a 174x16x3 track you might have a chance in this stuff. We spent about as much time getting un-stuck as riding yesterday at Bennet and that was mostly on the trails:face-icon-small-sho Adams would probably be suicide, maybe with a six sled team. Couple of times I was up to my shoulders wading, sled was a submarine, and this before it really started snowing last night. We never even made it to the traverse. After pre-wading through two 6' drifts and still getting stuck, we hit a 15 footer, and that was 100 yards BEFORE the traverse. Bennet is not the best choice right now, a little rain on top of this might not be such a bad thing...

The rain was exactly what I was thinking also. Was anyone else up there?

Yeah, I think Thatspec might have a stuck pic of me!! There were some deep pockets we dipped into where the only thing visible on the sleds were the handlebars at times! We had our thumbs to the bars breaking trail. We just need it to stay snow now

OK here's one phone pic. That may have been the toughest extrication but I think my getting stuck twice on a steep DOWNHILL:shocked: through the woods was the most bizarre. Yesterday I rode from the house up Middle Mt a short way but gave up after a couple of miles. The snow was so deep wet and slushy I had to maintain at least 7K rpm just to move on the road, I'll save the gas for better conditions. Pretty fun carving but I was soaked in two rounds from the spray...

Went up to skyline today to tune and lets just say it was the worst snow I've ever ridden. Thank god for lowering snow levels this weekend!

How is the parking situation on Weekends at Skyline? What time do we need to get there to insure we get a parking spot? Never ride on weekends but I thought I would take my kids up.
