Everyone will tell you to run the HPS....In my mind a can is a can. HPS claims 2-3hp gain, cpi claims 2-3 HP claim. HPS is 300 I got my brand new CPI on ebay for 175. It weighs 5lbs, 10lbs saving over stock. You will hear everyone blowing about CPI quality, but mine is excellent. Welds are perfect, fit is perfect, no complaints what so ever. I haven't rode it yet so I can't compliment on that but i can't see spending and extra 100 bucks for the same weighs savings, just to say I have an HPS can..

Ya they were that last year..Cheapest I could find this year was 280...That's what I was going to get but could not justify it...If the CPI did not lose HP I am good..
The pipe is what creates the back pressure and is designed for the motor not the can... Both CPI and HPS claim 2 - 3 Hp gain....I think they both probally give a little throttle repsonse but HP is arguable. I am 98% confident there wil be noticable difference on the hill between the CPI and HPS..

HPS or MBRP I've had great luck with MBRP and their customer service is spot on IMO. I ended up with both cans by a fluke MBRP had no problem exchanging for a can to fit another sled I just picked up.

I ordered an HPS & an SLP to see wich one I liked better. I ended up going with the HPS because it is lighter, but the SLP is quieter. The SLP is a very nice can, but for me the HPS fit my needs better.
