Anyone going to venture out in this new snow??

Those itching for one last deep powder ride and dont mind the 4 hr drive I would be heading over to the snowies to ride this weekend. Friday will be awesome,Saturday will be good, warms up by Sunday. As far as riding here, its gonna be cooked by Friday, could be baked as soon as Thursday noon. I would expect 2-3 maybe 4ft of new in the snowies by this Friday.

FYI Guardsman road has been plowed over the pass even though the gate is still closed and locked. We rode it last night and the snow was 8-16" of new on crust, some decent pockets. I have never seen so little snow on the backside of the pass, really crazy. If you could get behind Alta or the Bird it would be great, let me know if you find a way in:face-icon-small-sho

Had some friends ride guardsman this morning. Said it was terrible, 3-4" at the most on top of concrete. They rode from the parking lot to the top and back.

Mirror lake highway

Is it worth trying to ride up mirror lake highway this weekend?? Would love to get one last ride in.

44" last three days at Snowbird in Utah. 25" just in last 24 hours

A group and I rode wolf creek today. 3-4" on top of concrete. It seemed to get better as you headed back over to tower and current creek. We found a couple good pockets of snow in the trees on north facing slopes. I was pretty disappointed. I really thought there would be more

Weird that biggest storm in seemingly years and it cant be found on a snowmobile? Ski resort depth is at its highest too.

I think only the cottonwoods got the major snow. Lake effect. We hardly got any over here on the Park City side.

I skied the 'Bird second day of the storm and it definitely did not feel like 40"+ because the wind had blown everything around. Some slopes were still icy.
