Anyone familiar with Timbersled "ship" dates

I ordered a Riot 3 with my dealer back in Sept, and at the time, delivery guidance was mid-November. That didn't happen, and I'm still waiting for it. Stopped by the dealer yesterday, and they looked the order up in the system, and the status was "shipped on 12/23". I was ecstatic, figuring that it should arrive any day now. However, the dealer said that with Timbersled, "shipped" doesn't really mean they've left the dock and are in transit. They still have units that "shipped" in early December that still haven't arrived.

Does anyone have any further insight or experience on this topic?

Just to close the loop, I finally got my Riot 3 on 1/17 after it "shipped" on 12/23.
