ANYONE EVER SEEN FUEL REG SPIKE WHEN COMING OFF BOOST?

Its the cr setting that u want to adjust. U need to be in advanced mode to adjust it & make sure u only adjust the cr setting or it can mess up the tuning. I am on my smart phone now so searching the forum is a little tedious 4 me. The cr number divided by 4.5 is the boost pressure that the secondaries come on at. If cr=30 they come on at about 6.7 psi. I assume you would want a number around 23 (5psi) and then increase it slowly until it doesn't bog... but I personally wouldn't go past 28 unless someone tells u that is ok for an m1000.

I couldnt find it in advanced mode however I did find a cr number in the supertuner mode and it was at 21 so im guessing that could be the problem? I dont quite understand how that would cause a problem having them come on too soon though? Can someone please explain this to me a little more? I will def play with it a little next time out just not understanding how it will make difference?!(Should note secondary inj are in throttle bodies!)

cr=21 is only 4.6 psi of boost where the secondaries turn on for you. I would bring it up toward 28 & see if it helps clean it up. My sled was still not great at 25 or 28, but is was decent at 30 (which is where I am now). Then I took my psi-H Low number down until it cleaned it up the rest of the way. Make slow adjustments & you should be fine. What psi are you running at WOT?

Edit** just did some searching & it appears the psi numbers that can be run on m1000 stock injectors (pg kits) are about 7-8psi which is similar to the m8's, so you should be able to work up to higher CR numbers (like 30) that seems to work for a lot of m8 bd turbo guys. Let us know how (or if) it works... there are not many decent m1000 rg bd tuning threads on here... but you already knew that. Good luck tuning! :beer;

pump gas m1000 turbo bog off boost

I have a pump gas m1000 09 boondocker turbo and it is also doing that exact same thing. It runs good as long as I keep it in the boost. As soon as I let off and the rpms drop down below around 5000 rpm, upon WOT again it wont go above 6300 untill I feather the throttle a bunch. It helped significantly to reduce the 4500 mid to -5 -12 0 and had 3500 -2 -2 -2 and PSI 0 5 20 at 3000' elevation in turnagain pass alaska. there is a line running from my charge tube to a "Y" and then to the EBC and Fuel tank. I believe this means that my fuel pressure is boost referenced. There is a diaphram on the fuel pump assembly in the fuel tank that I assume increases the fuel pressure when that line is pressurized, and the ebc connection is just a sensor reading for boost pressure. I am new to turbos and have been tuning for about 2 months now every weekend. If I don't get this fixed soon it's time for jaws twins and porting.

Would having my adjustable actuator out of whack cause this problem? I was messing with it trying to fix the bog and now it causes a flutter when I let off boost and i dont know if that's normal.

Anybody wanna buy a turbo?

Ok took it back up with stock reg with boost ref didnt seem to make much differnce started playing with the cr number got up to 29 got a little better after adjusting cr number but still bogging when coming off boost! Really getting frustrated sled runs good all the way through until i come off boost! Bog is better i can feather the throttle and get through it(not stalling/killing the motor) but ist still not right. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions I could try PLEASE!!!!! just wanna get it right before the good riding gets here!

What are your bd settings? Since it is improving, but not quite fixed I am thinking that the psi-h low number may need to be decreased... but would best to capture boost & fuel settings 1st when it happens. Have u used the "capture" feature on your bd box? Once u set it up, u can press the button exactly when u have the issue & know exactly what settings to adjust without as much guessing.

No idea how to use capture mode please Explain!

My settings are
FP 45 rising 1.1
pre boost -6 -4 0
4300psi 0 0 2
5100psi 10 12 4
5700psi 19 22 19
6700psi 19 23 22
7500psi 20 26 37
8200psi 19 24 37

Talked to Bd today and they thought i should aslo lower the lo setting in hi boost rpms but if I give the sled 1/4 throttle it will boost to 6 to 7000ish rpm so it seems like it needs fuel there! But i will def try it next time up! I was kinda thinking maybe the 5700 hi needs to come down! Didnt get to carried away with tuning last time there was like 3 ft of powder so not ideal tunning snow!

Thanks for the help so far feel like im getting close now just something still isnt quite right!
