I have applied for a few jobs with this company and was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. The jobs I applied for are in SLC or Hill Airforce Base in Ut. Seems like a good place to work for.

Funny you should ask, EG&G contract with DLA to delivery material to the air force. I write and maintain the software they use to track the materials they deliver. The job itself is super easy. Pick up pallets, scan them and delivery them all over the base.
Do you have an interview set up?I worked for URS (actually it was Woodward and Clyde that was just bought out by URS) back in the summer of 99 at the Homestake Gold Mine as an engineering intern. Good job and a good buch of folks. We were performing Quality Assurance for a contractor that was raising the mine's tailings dam. I have no idea if any of them are still around with the company, but it was a good summer.

Sounds like about 6 out of the 10 jobs I have applied for but plan on getting my mech. eng. degree and moving with in the company.
I dont have an interview yet but have a contact that says her boss has pulled my resume and looks like I have a good chance guess I'll wait and see. Althoug if you happen to have any pull...............just saying. I have been out of a job for coming up on 6 months and getting a little worried.
I work For URS but i am laid off for the winter. URS actually bought the company i worked for(Washington Group International).

If you work for EG&G maybe you'll end up working at "an undisclosed location". You know they started as a high speed filming company. Made some of those cool bullet through an apple pictures, back before anyone else was doing it. Seems the government needed very high speed pictures of this new nuclear bomb they had. The rest is history.
Huh I didnt know thats how they started...cool
