Anyone ever been in a shop accident??

I had an accident at work, it was not at a shop, more my outdoor office. I have been a carpenter and enjoyed 17 years of no accidents, that is until 3 years ago when I fell out of a man basket on a gradall. I was lifting a square 12 ft 8x8 beam to a co worker on top of a two story house when the beam slipped off the bottom of the man basket and fell, on its way down it knocked my feet out from under me. My co-worker was inches from grabbing my hand but missed. I fell 30 ft landing on top of the log that knocked me off. It smashed the right side of my head and face, broke my wrist and got me a life flight to the nearest neurosurgen to put my head back together, he did a great job ,had me back to work in 7 weeks.

I feel your pain ! Glad there is at least one other person that didn't cry and milk disability

Tearing apart the rear axle assemblys from a Cat 994 loader, one of the cover plates dropped on my foot, that hurt.

I had a hoist cylinder off of a excavator sorta pinch me between it and the excavator today, no damage, just a little spooky.

Forgot to relieve the pressure in a tractor's hydraulic system on the farm one time, all I remember was a black oily cloud coming at me thus soaking me from head to toe

At our shop one of our guys was crushed between a 4200# Cat 785 truck tire and a wheel loader. Amazingly he didn't break anything, just pushed some stuff out of place and left his whole torso black and blue.
