I would think some disks cut out of the trunk of a tree would go over well. Maybe pipe some snowmobile exhaust into the box and seal it up real good.

Don't have to deal with them. I opted out and put security on my credit info. Somone wants to do a check I have to authorize it verbaly with the credit bureau and verify wih a password I have in place. Cost $.0 to do. Used to have a problem with 1 place soliciting vacations at my busness via fax until I taped 3 black pages together, started the fax on their number and taped the ends together. They called me 30 mintues later asking if I could stop faxing them. I told them I asked them to do the same several times. They stopped faxing me after that.

The opt out number is 1-888-567-8688. They ask you a few questions and then they will take your name off almost all credit places lists for 5 years.

i have also done this i also heard that each time someone looks at your credit it shows so when you apply for something you want it looks bad having a ton of people looking at it

It does show up on your CB every time it is pulled. Will give the company name and date. If you have your CB pulled alot in like a 3 month period, it will lower your credit score a bit.

i send them back filled out. i have 256 credit cards. I used them to pay off my mortgage and bought 6 new sleds!

You have to call each of the 3 Credit Bureau's and request the security password thing. It's different than the opt out#.
