Anyone else LLLOOOOOOVVVEEE their new polaris?!!!!

We finally got some semblance of decent snow last week and I got to ride the new pro 163. WOW. I actually took off from a dead stop on a steep hill and went straight up gaining speed the entire time! ive never been able to do that on that particular hill with any previous sled and for what its worth Im SOLD. This sled is definitely startin to live up to the hype. I can see where these guys have been complaining about the lack of stated horsepower, but the sled does what it needs to do, regardless of what they say the actual horsepower is. We ride with a guy with a 220 HP King Cat and there wasnt anyplace he could leave me behind. We'll see if the really deep stuff makes a difference, but as far as first impressions go, SOOOOOO GLAD I BOUGHT ONE!!!!

It wont. That's all I've rode so far and it gets crazy traction. Would walk on my modded XP all day long!

Edit: Lol, I get neg'd for that by one of the hardcore doo boys. Go back to talking about how much power your etec has, thanks.

Ah, my Assault's alright I guess. Haven't gotten enough miles on it to be real sure, but given that the sled was delivered to me with the belt super tight, the track seemed to be pre-shrunk (got way loose after 30 miles), the chaincase was half full of oil, and the grease zerk for the driveshaft came out when I put the grease gun to it, I'm not completely enamored. I do love the way it rides, don't have complaints about the power, and the handling is amazing. Just wish a sled I paid $10,400 for would have been a little more dialed from the factory.

By the looks of it, I don't know if I love my new pro as much as dawgwood, but yes, I am in love with my new pro. The team clutching set up is great, I got the suspension dialed on it, geared her down and now it just flat out rips.

Yep, but you are only a year behind most of us!

Ahhhhhhgg......stick to ur dirt bike....

I would love my pro if I could ever ride it. No snow here so I haven't been able to really get it out and ride the thing.

I don't like to complain, and I didn't want that post to be overly negative. I really do love my Assault.

To be critical of my own post, the thing that really sounds like nit-picking would be the track tension. I know new tracks, chains, belts and the like need to be tightened after a little bit, I was just surprised when it started ratcheting so soon. Never had that happen. Heck, never had a track with extros ratchet at all. Never had a Polaris either, guessing center driver is more sensitive. I will take that as operator error.

adjust it to factory spec and it will perform better...poo's are very sensitive to loose tracks, especially the single plys..roll your sled up on its side and shine a flashlight up at the rear of the drivers in the tunnel..if there is black marks on the frt of the coolers..the track is to loose...its hurting track speed....
