Those tracks fall apart so quick. I've seen it a dozen times. 1,400 miles on my challenger extreme and I'm not even missing part of a single lug.

The maverick does outperform the challenger in the champagne pow pow, but that's about it.

your not supposed to ride it until it snows:) love the pic with it cut into pieces, a fitting end to its life!!! have a buddie who ran one on his tapex, was missing half the lugs after a couple of rides...

I've got several lugs starting to tear. Might give the E6000 a try and hope to squeeze an extra couple miles out of it.

But I don't think any adhesive is gonna help akmc800's track now!

I have a Maverick on my M, but mine looks nothing like that one! I think I have one missing lug in the 600 miles I have on the sled. I couldn't tell you how long it was on there from the previous owner.

I have 1500 miles on one and only have two tore paddles. Yours wer'nt tore, they are just plain missing! I looks like the lugs were glued on as an after thought! I did take half the lugs off a polaris track on one climb!

Dont ride it on the rock! I just put one on my king, hope it hold up in the dry fluffy utah snow a little better then that!!! I was also told that there were 2 different maverick tracks built, The first ones that came out were SOFT. That track was built ti yamaha specs. After that camoplast built one to their own specs. It is a harder rubber. Yamaha now uses (2008 and 2009) the harder rubber track. The track I have came off of a 2008 yamaha. I hope the info I got was right. We will see.

That is clearly not from rocks. That is delaminating!! you "could" have gotten that replaced under warranty if it was in one piece yet :) Eric

That's what I was thinking. I helped someone get a track warrantied that looked alot like that. Camoplast was very good to work with.

Yea good luck with the camo warranty thing. Got a 16x2.5x162 extreem with about 150 easy miles on it. Paddles are breaking apart at the base. Two or three emails with pics and two or three calls to tracks usa till I got a response. The answer was "well you can send it back to me then I will send it to camoplast and will just have to wait and see what happens? I pay shipping both ways with no promises. Sounded like a white wash to me.

track

that's interesting, i have 1500 miles on a maverick also on an M7 and it is still in basically perfect shape, anyone know if there are any production dates on these...got mine used for $200 with a supposed 600 miles on it so 2100 total miles....maybe you got a lemon

Where you hard on it at all? I'm pretty hard on my sled but this is unaceptable.

i have a 162 maverick on my 2006 apex with 3700 km's on it and it looks new.do you ride it on bare ground or rocks like some other guys on this site?if you had this problem and it is legite, why did you not talk to a dealer or rep before cutting it to pieces? i don't know all the details on your end but i have had good success anytime i had issues.

track

mostly ride offtrail Colorado powder, tough to fairly compare different conditions in different parts of the country but i do hit some hardpack in the spring and when i do cross logs and rocks I try not to spin it if possible.....your remaining lugs don't look like they have shred marks or chips out of them from spinning on obstacles so I'm suspicious that you have a track that was not manufactured properly especially since there seems to be a uniformity in the way the lugs are ripping off, the support around your lugs is tearing and not the lug itself. When you spin on rocks the lugs will have rough edges and slices in them and yours do not....so that's why I think you have a bad track.

Not alot or trail riding but alot during early winter. No rocks or gravel or anything not snow, a treet here and there. I bought it from a 3rd party who removed it from there yami so I don't think any kind of warrenty applies. Bought a power claw before the season and I'm pretty happy with it, best of both worlds. Does as well as my a20 in pow position in the deep and hangs with the challenger on the trail.

Yamaha USA is good about warranty on tracks. Its all about your dealer. In the last 6 years I have had 3 tracks replaced at no cost to me. Each time I sent pics to my dealer and they sent me a new track, even kept my old one.

You can clearly see there isnt very many ripped or cut lugs. The ones that are damaged are totally missing. Eric
