Anybody use octane boost?

I am just wondering if it is ok to use octane boost in a pinch? I am running a boosted phazer at 11 psi and was told to run a min of 91/110 mix but it can be hard to come by sometimes. I don't plan on using all the time just in a pinch. Who makes a good one? Any info would be great.

Torco is supposed to be the only one that is really good. I use a little in each tank just for insurance.

Lucas is rated very good and is what I use when I don't have avgas.

Is there an airport nearby?

I've been using Torco Accelerator for 3 years now at 17+ pounds and hasn't blown up yet.

small scale

i have a na mod back home i ride out and dont really know which place i will fuel at. so i will bring a can of klotz booster in case the station has only 87 oct. never had a problem doing it in five years.
last year when at a station i realizied i had forgot the can and decided i would just take it easy thinking the booster was more of a piece of mind thing.
not true i made it five miles and locked up. so i say yes it works but im talking about a pretty beat up sled
now i keep a 5 gal can of 114oct in the garage

Torco's chart shows mixing with 91. 3.2 oz.per gal to make 101 and 6.4 oz. per gal. to make 105. They said that you coudn't add more than recommended to get higher than 105. You could try calling them and find out what it would make with 87 or 89 octane.

I could be wrong but wouldn't it up 87 and 89 octane up 14 points to 101 & 103?
