Anybody get a sled yet?

I think the fact Carl's got a 9R today proves they padded the dates by 30 days. They are not going to make Boosts after 9Rs... Maybe Rusty can weigh in on what he sees in the future during one of his flashbacks...

My flashback is 2008 Dragons being January-February late and the boat anchor of ‘22 being seriously late. My look into the future is Polaris is playing schedule chicken and will not make the commitment dates. 26-64 week lead times and backlogs are the currently the rule in manufacturing, not the exception.

Living in an inverted world requires understanding and patience. If you can’t live with it, don’t cry, buy a Doo

Make sure you choose the proper pronoun of they/them.
I mean, let's be honest, someone might be a they/them if identifying as BOTH a snow biker and a snowmobiler.

This isn’t really a supply chain issue as much as it’s an incompetent sled manufacturer issue. Most of the problems are caused by poor R&D and testing. I’m sure the supply chain comes into play when they need fix kits manufactured but these are self induced problems. The endless recalls have plagued Polaris for years and they remain a successful company especially with utvs so they really have no reason to change.
They sponsor nearly every top rider I wish they would cut that back and put more money into testing. All these amazing riders that can do crazy stuff on snowmobiles is cool but doesn’t help the quality of their product Apparently sponsoring riders sell more sleds then building a reliable product.

Riders are looking for sponsor dollars. It is likely a weighted guess that if they didn't sponsor so many riders that they would jump ship to the next sponsoring check. Then there could be quite a few raised eyebrows why they left Polaris.
Burandt and Rasmussen used to ride AC and had some cool videos to prove what they could do. Once they left, the eyeballs went with them.

Yep so sponsoring riders takes priority to them as a company as apposed to building a better quality product.
The top sponsored riders also have a lot of input into product development. They are not offering any input on how to make the sleds more durable they are after lighter weight and better performance. Which we all love too but there needs to be more balance between this and durability.

If you don’t have a sled and can live without a boost or 9R dealers have all kinds of 850s in every combination you won’t get a 7s display but those will be the first rideable sleds once the fix kit is out dealers fix their inventory first. I would put a deposit on one

Okay if there is a Stop Sale Stop Ride recall how did this happen today??? Update: they took down this post shortly after asking about this!!

have a boost 165 on snowcheck at full retail.
if not delivered in a timely manner. i.e. by january may bail as may be able to buy same sled as a leftover for a nice price.
we will see .

Still have yet to see a sled with the iPad screen delivered...
Polaris said we’re all good this year so I ordered two with the iPad screens. I hope those screens aren’t coming out of china or any other parts for that matter they’re on full lockdown in Beijing.
It’s looking like March or April again for most of us
I also haven’t seen anyone get a red mountain sled either.
