Anybody get a sled yet?

Well I was still in the running for last one delivered but will concede to you Fos, I'm dropping out. Just can't justify taking a '23 at this point with only a couple of trips left this season for us. With the cost of interest, insurance, and depreciation the numbers just don't make sense for me. Guess we'll try for next year. Thanks Polaris!

Got my 9R in December and my Boost today. I check new sleds every year so waiting isn't that big of a deal to me.

My local dealer is now taking deposits on 24 snowchecks before they even release the sleds. Crazy times.

What are those crazy words? Insurance? Depreciation?

My progressive policy is a pay once a year for the whole year. Doesn't matter how long or short I have the sled.

If you're worried about depreciation then motorsports in general aren't for you. This is having fun, not investing.

If you want a new sled all the time, wait for yours. Ride it, and trade it in when next year's arrives.

Only ones I've seen in the dealers are snowcheck back-outs.

The covid labor and parts mess is going to keep trickling through the economy for years. Get over it, and adapt or quit.

You forgot to mention "Stop ride orders"! You can keep sucking on that Poo lollypop.

The least Polaris could do for this late of a delivery is to allow an extended warranty. Watch, next year snow will suck hard and leave us with a short window to ride late season. Kiss 1 year of a two year warranty gone. I doubt they will though, corporate minds would just think all the more reason to sell an extended warranty at full retail, Hell, maybe even raise the price on extended warranties.

Soon they'll probably all be one year warranty, even on the snow check scene. FML.

Well. Another week down and another week of no Boost. While the rest of you are out playing I’m sitting here watching having to take the big green weenie. Feel like I’m in the Army again. Hurry up and wait etc. wonder what excuse they will have at the end of next week when it doesn’t show. Good think I made two unexpected sled purchases this season. Restored a 96 Ultra and bought the wife a 22 850 Khaos. If I had not I absolutely would have bailed and bought something else by now. Only thing that has me still committed is my dealer has my wrap (red white and blue American flag wrap) in for it and I got a can and rear bumper. Otherwise I would have jumped on a candy corn 155 Khaos boost at my dealership and gave up in the blue 165 pro. Dunno. I’m still sorta on the fence about sitting on what I have watching inflation, prices, interest all go up on not just sleds but also quality going in the ****ter. Maybe keep the $$ and shore up for what’s coming in the economy.

I think you'll be able to get a used one next fall for a cheap price. These guys are going to be struggling making their $450 sled payments.

Check with your store....not sure about USA, but up here they announced a warranty extension and other incentives for those with late delivery sleds. Just came out a few days ago

Doubt you'll get any sort of deal next year. He will probably sell them full price to someone who can't get a snowcheck.

Good luck!
It was a 650 for the wife. Dealer still has three leftover '22's he hasn't been able to sell. Confident I should be able to find her something next fall, no waiting this time.
Funny thing is, Monday the site read "scheduled to be built" and by Wednesday it read " built and on a truck headed to you" haha fml

I’m officially pulling the plug on my snow check boost. (Still not here yet) Found out the extent of my surgery plan to fix a large hernia in my abdomen wall that is pretty much Swiss cheese at the moment requiring lots of mesh and restructuring the ab muscles. Recovery time will end my season March 1. So with my sled not being here and only a couple more weeks to ride it makes no sense to stay with it. I snow checked expecting late delivery but holy hell I ordered my buddies boost for him same time as me and his came a month and a half ago with color scheme being the only difference. I bought a 22 holdover 850 intended for the wife. This experience really put a sour taste in my mouth for snow check. Doubt I’ll order another or if I do I’ll bail on it for one that comes in before mine.

Nobody I know stopped riding.

We're screwed because snowmobiles are a tiny industry. They can get away with crap because we have nowhere else to turn to.

If you have a cat boner what are you doing in here anyways?
Haha. No cat boner. I switched to POO 10 years ago. Hard to ride a sled you didn't receive because it was back burned for stop ride recalls. BTW have you seen all the recalls on Poo's atv's?
It appears only Poo can get away with crap and riders just keep snow checking. Crazy!
I like Poo but for god sake some people are just gluten for punishment.

Miraculously on the last date of the Scheduled to be built, it changed to built on Friday-Sat some time. Now shows built. Any bets that it will go the full term and then show in transport on the last day with another 2 week schedule? This next weekend is my last weekend to ride for at least 4-8 weeks.
