Anybody else have summer toys....

Ya I have a Raptor 700 for the summer but all I can think about is turning my Skidoo into a dune sled for the summer and then back again for the winter.
Anyone want to help me on that project?
My family thinks i am a freak.
I just say there are a lot worse things to be addicted to.

My summer toy

I built it all ground up and reall don`t drive it as much as I should, but around here all the carshows and events have been advertised very poorly, they used to be on about every radio station around and this year nothing I always here about a show after it happened or is just going on and its too late anyway.

1928 Model 'A' Ford Coupe, Chopped 4", Channeled 3 1/2", 327 chevy all roller, TH350 trans, all handbuilt top skin, visor, floorboards, rear window panel, inner fender wells, decklid and 1 1/2" x 3" Square tube frame. Weighs 2100lbs and true 350hp. Unfortenutly geared really high has 2.76 rear ratio, but will pull 65mph out of first gear. Lol after you hit 2nd you pretty much scared the S%#T out of you passenger, What a ride, thats probably another reason why I don`t drive it as much as I should, hard to resist the throttle.
Dodge- Plum Crazy Purple, Desert Turquios Flames,

Nice rides guys, Darren

Here's mine...a 70 chevelle with a 396BB and almost 500hp on the flywheel. Spent the last two years on building it almost from ground up, follow the link to a Norwegain page where the build is well documented

Several summer toys ( Street bike, ATV, Boat ) non of them even come close to the snowmobile. I always call my riding buddies on the 5th of July and ask them if they're ready for snow. Starting on the 5th of July I start counting summer down and I can't wait for the snow.

Nothing will replace or come close to sledding, but summer is too long to sit at home staring at the sled.

hey moon what part of Jersey shore you at? I lived on the shore there for 2 years! I love Stone Harbor and Cape May! :D

My in-laws have an awesome beach house in Longport... (Margate) 2 weeks of living big. (and thinking snow!) made 3 trips down to the boards at O.C!

I need something to keep me out of trouble during the summer. Or is that keep me from mowing the lawn?

Harley Springer on a three day ride a couple weeks ago.

And unfortunately I sold the boat.

Here is a picture of my 1968 Plymouth Satellite that is a blast to drive and 1/4 drag race. It runs 11.60's @ 118 in the 1/4 mile on slicks and open exhaust.

Been in the family since new, just a toy now, restored and retired to the garage about 10 years ago, car shows and cruising only, it has paid it's dues.
