Anybody else have summer toys....

and yet you still can't wait for winter???

I have the requisite summer toys (quad, dirt bike, streetbike etc) and I still can't wait for winter. It is +30C here and all I can think about is looking out over a beautiful valley of snow, and busting the hell out of it.

yea its weird eh...if you go to my profile i have a sailing picture album of several great pics and its awesome to sail....but,but ,but...everywhere i look in the summer...the hills,mountains ,meadows,ditches...rtc etc all i picture is with it all full of snow...lol...so yep i know what ya mean...we are a disturbed breed..

we used to have jet ski's and a boat. as my kid's have grown they have picked up my addiction. and now i have a 17yr,old an 11yr,old and my wife that can't wait for the snow to fly.call us crazy but we love sledding.

when i'm up riding my quad i'm always looking for the best line up the mountain, wondering if that big stump in the middle would be covered or would i have to go around it. same when i'm watching tv, if theres mountains in the background always looking for a chute or a way to the top, forget what i'm watching sometimes...

I ride my dirt bike almost year round but I cant get enough of sledding. Some the guys I ride bikes with make fun of me because I have klim and sledneck stickers on my bike. If I could sled all year round and not ride bikes I would.

Taking the boat out tomorrow to ski a little.

I spend all my time in the mountains looking for new places to ride the sled.

I "quit" summer years ago. My brain just isn't wired to ride a trail all day and not go up a dang clearcut (although I still do it just to find the new riding area). It is so much faster seeing the country on a sled than having to ride twice as far! Boating is o.k. when its 105 but there are always 4000 other boaters in your way, just not that way on a sled. I choose winter! Let it snow already.

Ehn, my sledding season is about 3 times as long as my boating/wakeboarding and camping season, so I'm actually doin pretty fine.
