I have always rode polaris, mainly because the small town I live in only deal with polaris. I am looking to buy my daughter a sled. She rides very well and handles her moms 600 with ease. I dont know alot about cats. I would like to get her a 700 or 800. We ride at 6000 feet to 10000. Want a newer sled with low miles. Anything to avoid? Like a year, model, track, etc.

If you're not going to mod, the 07 M8 was a bit sluggish stock, but in general if you can afford it, go 09. The engine reverse made a big difference in weight, and the new tunnel setup is also pretty sweet.

09 M = powerclaw

I agree with get an 09. Put her on 09 M8 and she will rip!, plus it comes with one the best tracks on the market - powerclaw. It will be a time tested reliable machine that will last her for many years. Or get a Crossfire and put a powerclaw on it.
