Any time on the EVO belts?

Blew another belt this weekend and decided to try the evo belt. I have the udpated secondary on but I was using an old belt so it may have just been time for it with the bad clutch and wear. Decided to try out this belt, just havnt heard any reports yet?

Eco belts

Hope it was a bad belt but my buddy blew his belt and put on my new evo and it only made it 5 miles not good

the new belt isnt going to do you any good if the alignments off. all good if its just ctc but....good luck

Seems like in the 2013's we could get 600+ miles before popping a belt- I have a few 2014's here in my shop that have less than 200 miles and blew a belt each-
Got to get the Paralle in check-......

Ran the Evo belt all year last year and it works great! As stated above, if you are blowing ANY brand of belt, you have a problem that needs addressed.

Put on the EVO belt, rode it nice to break it in, and after about 40 miles I jumped on the throttle hard for a couple of runs on the lake, and it seemed fine. Performed well. I like how it rides higher in the secondary. The only complaint I had is that the EVO belt is 5 thou narrower than the cat belt, and 15thou thinner. Wish it was the other way around. Oh and we put on 95 miles that day with no belt issues. worn off a thou and a half off the belt though. Maybe break-in cramps, we'll see:face-icon-small-coo

Well the dealer checked the alignment when they put the new secondary on, wouldnt suprise me if its off tho. Im just hoping the the belt is hitting the helix and blowing up, its been the same situation every time: warm and climbing a hill at full throttle then I kiss the front bumper.

I have not tried an evo belt but I am starting to belive that there is no consistansy in any of the belts being made for these sleds. My original belt that I got with my sled has 1100 miles on it and still looks and works fine. Last year at the begining of the year I bought a new belt just becouse I thought Why not replace it and keep the original for a spare. Got about 50 miles on it and a cord started pulling out of it. I cought it in time and burnt it off and it will work for a spare to get me back to the trialer in an emergancy. I put back the original belt and ran the sled the rest of the year. This year same thinking. Put on a new belt and put the original back in the holder for a spare. Got about 5 miles out of the new one and it disinagrated. Pulled all the chunks out and put back on the original belt and put on additional 150 miles since with no issues. Can't explain it?

Original belts we measured from 12 seemed to be consistently longer than a new belt in 13. Different supplier, who knows.
