Any sled video review threads?

Looking for some awesome steep and deep pow tree riding videos.
Just watched the new 2012 back country adventures and it was not near as good as the previous ones. Way to much talking and not near enough riding.

That's they way they have all been. I stopped buying sled vids altogether for that very reason.

The new ones I've watched this year are Boondockers, which I thought was really good. Mostly pow riding, and trees. 208 was pretty good as well. Fourcast was mostly jumping, and talking. Didn't really care for that one much. Thunderstruck was the same as it is every year. Mostly just turbos climbing chutes.

Everybody is different, but I'm into the tree riding, and deep powder riding. If your buying just 1, get Boondockers in bluray. Fourcast did have some pretty awesome drops though if your into big air.

I was pretty impressed with the 208 teaser, How about Rasmussen's video was it lame or was it good? Boondockers has been good year to year, wish they had some sled diversity though, not much besides pro's in the video but that is not such a big deal.

Just like the metamorphosis of our riding gear the sled videos are mostly following the ski industry...as they should. Some of the most amazing outdoor filming around for sure. A BIG budget and lots of creativity makes that happen though. Keep up the good work sledheads!

Schooled 5 is good. Fourcast 3 is good to but not much tree riding, KC 711 segment is awesome though. Natural Frequency is great and you can watch that on youtube for free and the same with Tudizzel's latest. New Boondockers is also good.
Thunderstruck should send me a free new one after some of the crap they put out that I paid for.

Freash 3 talk is cheap. East coast and some stuff from out west mostly all backcountry in the woods, to top that off some sick freestyle from the ravex boys.

I miss old videos. Seems like all you see are pros in the new ones. Yes they do some "sweet moves" but not sure responsibility is due to the brand x turbo or the killer wrap dude!
Seems like there was so much more going on in the old days to make the sled perform and the movie showed it being built some of the time. Almost was a fansasy to be able to build something similar or even see one on the hill. Now the same machines you see in the flick is a dime a dozen out and about.

I want a new old school build ride movie. Maby one of these film makers can just scout around the web and the parking lots till they find an old modder for a feature.
Maby a movie that builds a old wedge or s chassis up to some crazy degree and throws one of these young well known movie rideing people on it in all the popular places to show that the old iron can still compete!

If Jim Phelan would not narrate would make those videos a little more watchable.
