I've got a several large hangars that I'm trying to lease out and wanted some ideas on where I should advertise.
Looking to find out what the popular magazine, or newspaper is that most Pilots look into.
Target is somebody with alot of toys, or an executive type aircraft.
Thanks for any ideas.

I would look into Trade-a-plane, AOPA, Plane & Pilot, etc. and Barnstomers.net. Trade-a-plane is a huge monthy circulation. Barnstomers has pretty inexpencive listings, and they stay on until you sell. At least if you listing an aircraft anyway. Not sure about leasing a hangar.

What are the going rates for your hangar? Heated?

I actually have a 25000 sq ft building that has 4 offices on the front 5000 sq ft total, and 3 hangars on the back 2-5000 sq ft, and 1 10,000 sq ft.
The 10k is leased, the 2 5k are .50 sq ft.
50' wide/27' tall bifold door.
50' wide/100' deep hanger heated/sprinklered/secure.
Location is Minden Tahoe Airport, Minden NV.

The 10k is leased out to a company that is building the jet aircraft they are using for fighting fires. this bifold door is 100' wide/36' tall. They have been in here for almost 3 years, and still have at least another year before it is done.

During the winter months I'm able to fill these with boats, I can get about 30 in them so that fills me up, but I'm empty all summer.
I've got a guy with an American Champion Scout amph in one right now as short term, and a shared hangar agreement.
I'd like to get these leased out so I don't have to monkey around with them.

Any ideas, I was thinking of some type of glider storage as Minden-Tahoe is a huge gliding community. I don't know if the glider guys would be willing to pay for storing their equp/trailers. I know I could stack at least 40 in each one.

Advertise at the local FBOs. Here are two of them at your airport. Soar Minden & Hutt Aviation. Also, try Carson City and South Tahoe airports among others. Most FBOs do not handle hangers so they usually don't care. Always a pinup board at FBOs.

Hutt has large hangars, in fact I was talking to him about using mine for spill over.
I'd have to check into the FBO at Tahoe/Carson whether or not they have hangars.
